1 1/2 c Billing water
1 c instant oats
Mix and let stand for 20 minutes
Cream:
1/2 c Butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
Sift:
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 t salt
1 t baking soda
3/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
Mix oatmeal and creamed mixture until smooth. Add flour mixture & mix thoroughly. Our into a large 9 x 14. Cook at 350° for 25-30 min.
Icing:
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c butter
3 T cream
3/4 c coconut
1/2 c nuts
Spread icing on & put it under the broiler until icing bubbles.
